What to wear to a gallery press preview of William Morris' (who used to be one of Dale Chihuly's glass blowers) show at Abermeyer + Wood? Something classy: a crop top, duh. But seriously, what was I thinking? It was all this Seattle sun making me loopy. Perhaps I was too casual, which really there is never an excuse, but I definitely stood out as the artsy type that doesn't give a fuck. Am I that type of person? Not really, but I guess tonight I was...what a scandal.
Anyways, this crop top, which I'm totally strangely digging on--when worn right! Not too much skin!--was one cent at Wet Seal (one of the only times I have ever been in there) and the skirt is a jumper that I just tucked the chest and back flaps down under to make it look like a super fab high-waisted skirt. I love a crop with just that thin band of tummy showing. The jean jacket is a GREAT Buffalo Exchange find--Just Cavalli and just amazingly wonderful. The clogs are Woodies by Jeffrey Campbell. So yeah, I guess today I became a crop top girl...dammit.
