My friend Claire and I went down to the waterfront of Gas Works Park, a converted factory to admire all the boats out on Lake Union. A utility kilt seems to be a favorite feature of many Seattleite wardrobes. Although I am not wearing a utility kilt, it is still a kilt inspired skirt that I recently purchased at the new Savvy department at Nordstrom. Paired with a soft and simple jcrew sweater and a silver necklace, this was the perfect look for a slightly cooler spring day.
